Chequer Mead Winter Fair

A free winter fair at East Grinstead's theatre and arts centre, good for an early look at Christmas gifts.

Sat 7 Nov 2026
From 10:00
Free entry

Details and tickets

Chequer Mead hosts its Winter Fair on the morning of Saturday 7 November, and entry is free for members of the public. It starts at 10am.

It's a handy excuse for a wander round the arts centre and a bit of local browsing before the festive rush. The same evening, the theatre has a live tribute show on in the auditorium.

Good to know: The theatre's listing gives the start time only, so check with Chequer Mead if you need to know when it finishes.

Getting there

The venue is in De La Warr Road in East Grinstead, a short trip from the town centre and station, with parking nearby in town.

Going as a group? Our 16-seat minibuses take you from your door to the event and home again.
