Details and tickets

Two days of costumed characters take you back to 12th-century Arundel and the first two sieges of the castle. It's a good half-term pick for children who like their history hands-on.

The castle also has a 'History Man' half-term programme running from 27 to 31 October, so there's more to see if you go on another day.

Getting there

Arundel station is about a mile's walk from the castle, and there's pay-and-display parking in the town.
